I have always wanted to create works that take advantage of the high translucency of my porcelain clay. During a visit to a museum, I had the great opportunity to observe nerve cells under a cutting-edge microscope. The overlapping layers of linear fibers illuminated by backlight, and their intricate interconnections, were like the very essence of human life, and were extremely mystical. I create these moments of phenomena that are constantly in motion using clay. They feel like a new, unknown existence that bridges the inorganic and organic worlds, and I find them endearing.
