建築と工芸の「うつわ」

建築空間を設計できる陶芸家の奈良祐希は、「設計の陶芸」をコンセプトに、制作拠点である金沢特有の自然風土の陰影や太古からの生命リズムの波形をCADとプログラミングにて設計し、3D空間に「炎」として現出させます。2016年に発表された「Bone Flower」シリーズは、生命感あふれる炎のエネルギーとの共鳴が、太古から現在までの時空の境界を失わせるようです。本展では、新収蔵作品《Bone Flower_Jōmon》（2021年）などに加え、当館光庭の全面ガラスの展示室にて、生命の持つ「揺らぎ」の一瞬を凍結する「Frozen Flowers」という新作インスタレーションを発表します。

“Vessels” of Architecture and Crafts

Yuki Nara, a ceramic artist who also designs architectural spaces, uses CAD and programming to create designs that capture the shadows of the natural environment and ancient waveforms of life’s rhythms, manifesting them as “flames” in 3D space. The “Bone Flower” series, first released in 2016, resonates with the vibrant energy of flames, seemingly erasing the boundaries of time and space from ancient times to the present. In addition to newly acquired works such as “Bone Flower_Jōmon” (2021), this exhibition will feature a new installation titled “Frozen Flowers,” which freezes a moment of the “fluctuation” of life in the all-glass exhibition room of the museum’s light courtyard.
